      • Hello, my name is David Jenkins. I’m just now hearing about the cash app law suit, but I think I remember getting something in the mail about it a while ago, but on several occasions money was taken from my account paid to companies I’d never heard of before. When I file a claim they tell me that I must have approved it but I did not. My account has been closed

      • Well that’s the first half of my story but the bottom line twist to mine is they closed my down around the same time for fraudulent activity that wasn’t cause I don’t know what they are talking about anyways but when they closed mine they completely shut me down to the point they say it has been closed and can not be reopened or recovered something like that and it was verified and the two times that I have tried to make another one it says I can’t I have went through all of the question on why how and if and nothing I get nothing back from them.

    • My cash app account was also suspended and not giving me a 12 at to log in and withdraw my money from my account and was told I couldn’t access it that I would receive a check for my amount and I never received a penny and never could even get back in my account I contacted them over and over and still could not access my account and get my money so there for I lost well over 7500.00 dollars because they told me my account didn’t no longer have access and that I could no longer have a cash app account and i.never received anything stating about a lawsuit to file so I guess that’s another 7500. That they got to keep because nothing I can do but I will file lawsuit if something isn’t made right with me and I don’t receive my money that’s a promise

  4. Cash App misappropriated a loan repayment that I borrowed money to pay off and caused my account to be late. I tried several times to get help resolving the issue but they basically gave me the run around and didn’t help resolve anything. This happened Jan 9, 2025

    • That happened to me as well. But when somebody sent me money, they just took every cent without a warning that they were doing so. Then they lower my borrowing amount. I have spent thousands with them and paid for their transfer fees. I have paid back over 25 loans from them. Tired of this corporate scam.

  6. Why do you only hear about these things when it’s too late. It’s the third class action lawsuit that I should have been involved in didn’t know nothing about and can’t do nothing about it now lost thousands can’t do nothing about it too late

    • Me too. Anytime my account was used without my permission customer support would just close the case and not reimburse anything. It’s crazy because I only keep hearing of these lawsuits and deadlines to file for them well after the fact.

      • They did me badly as well. Spent a lot of money with them. They would lower my account spending. And then I would have to call them but they never gave me any reasons why did that. All they would tell me they couldn’t tell me why. Then all of a sudden I was told that I went against there policy. I never understood why and they completely closed my account out. And I never had access to it again. I had a few accounts like this and I was reimbursed for all the trouble and time lost from me making any transactions or being able to send money to people. This was very frustrating and they never could give me any straight answers… But I wasn’t able to file any claims either tried but unsuccessful.. How do I take part of this lawsuit with them?

  7. I had my bank card connected to my cash app and was using cash app for my auto pay with my electric company…I received a disconnect notice out of no where from my electric company saying I owed over $3,000!! They stated they hadn’t received payment from me since Sept 2023! However, money was taken out of my account monthly. When I tried signing into my cash app to show proof of me paying, I couldn’t. When I contacted the support team I was told I had to prove my identity…which they kept saying the proof(my dl) wasn’t valid or enough?? So to prevent future possible fraudulent charges they locked my account. So, I now have no way of proving i had paid. I’m not sure who is screwing me…cash app or my electric company…or both…Anyway, my money was going somewhere all those months. I’m not sure why the electric company waited so long to tell me they hadn’t gotten any payments or why they allowed me to have electricity for well over a year of non payment but this is not fair at all. Cash app was more hassle than help and now I’m fixing to not have electricity with 3 kids and being disabled…sucks big time.

    • Is your driver license upgraded to real id or EDL? Maybe that is why Cash app is not accepting it.
You should be able to log in to your bank account and see all the Cash app transactions.
If you can’t log in to your bank account. Then go to your bank or call and order all the statements for the past year.

  9. Why are we finding out about this so late? I have had several incidents where cashapp wouldn’t reimburse me for their mistakes and when I finally got a actual live person on the phone from cashapp… that rep basically told me to suck it up, he wasn’t going to do anything and I wasn’t getting my money back. They’ve taken $500 of my money in one transaction not to long after cashapp CEO was found dead…

They should’ve been able to look and see who I send money to on a regular basis but they didn’t and allow them to take $1150 out of my account was in it $800 payment and the other one was 350. I called and tried to talk to them at Cash App. All they done was gave me the runaround Told me that my cash tag wasn’t the right one and everything they owe me the money I have two witnesses I filed a claim I might not have got all the information in there because there was one thing about a police report, but this happened in Indiana so Indiana was saying because I lived in Florida. I need to file police report here everybody here so I need to file police report there so please report never got filed, but I do have two witnesses that were with me at the time this transaction happened right before our eyes

    • That happened to me also, I don’t have cashapp anymore because they they closed it I feel retaliation because I filed the lawsuit. They would always give me the run around, I would dispute it but I knew there customer service wasn’t going to be any help. It was very discouraging talking to cashapp about your money when you never gave any permission to remove any money or anything from my account I had to keep my card locked and if I unlocked and forgot to lock it back money was being removed. I need my money back. Times is hard

      Reply
    • Police report isn’t necessary if you brought it to cash apps attention via chat and would be even better if you took screenshots showing the conversation which is basically what I used to for over 3600 dollars but I’m pretty sure if what you sent in wasn’t satisfactory that you would of gotten a email by now stating they need more supporting documentation

  15. First cashapp, they had removed money without my permission, Bitcoin removed over $300 from my account without my permission and when I disputed it cashapp would always give me a hard time. Then my cashapp got hacked and money removed and closed my account without my knowledge. The second cashapp the same thing started happening and my card was breached and money removed for online shopping that I had nothing to do with. I filed the paperwork and then they closed my account I feel it was retaliation because I didn’t do nothing wrong for them to close it.

  17. I have been back and forth with CashApp since 2020. To which they allowed someone to take about $2,300.00 from my old account that I used at that time. Then they either 1) suspended my account without any given notice, or, 2) froze my account. When I tried to address this to cashapp in an abundance of emails, having to talk and send info to someone different each email I would send, they would give me the run around and gave me NOT ONE option to resolve this matter in the least. All in all, I lost about $5,000.00, they would no longer give me any type of access to my cashapp, and nothing got done about it.
I have went through a variety of unnecessary hardships since then as a result of this. I almost lost the only land my family has ever had to delinquent taxes, to which I still owe a year of $900.00 as of Jan., February. I have lost my car, my family, and many different opportunities to be able to progress my life and anyone I could’ve helped along the way. I wasn’t even aware of this settlement until after the deadline had ended, and even if they had notified me, I no longer have access to the account to which it was linked.
So…PLEASE, if you could, kindly inform me of who I need to be speaking with, and sending this information to. As I have had no luck so far.
